Software Engineer
Join our KL engineering team to build and maintain web applications for real clients, covering frontend, backend, APIs, databases and integrations. You will work with tools like Claude, ChatGPT every day, and you must be able to spot when AI output is wrong, insecure or over-engineered, and fix it before release. We work spec-first: clear written requirements drive AI-assisted builds, and engineers own the quality of the result.
- 01Turn business requirements and UI/UX flows into clean, secure, production-ready features
- 02Write clear specs and give AI tools the right technical and business context, within our established project structure and conventions
- 03Review AI-generated code for logic, security, performance and maintainability
- 04Debug issues across frontend, backend, databases, servers and production
- 05Own your features from development through deployment and support
- 06Help improve our AI-assisted development workflows
- Solid fundamentals in frontend, backend, APIs, databases and web architecture
- Practical, hands-on experience using AI coding tools
- Strong debugging and logical problem-solving skills
- Able to understand business logic and translate it into reliable implementations
- Able to learn unfamiliar code, APIs and tools quickly and independently
- An eye for UI/UX detail: you notice when a screen is confusing or inconsistent
- Honest about what you don't know, and comfortable saying "I'm not sure, let me check"
- Linux, server, database and networking knowledge
- Able to work independently and take ownership
- Full-time, office-based in Alam Damai, Kuala Lumpur; willing to respond to genuine production emergencies outside office hours
Fresh graduates are welcome. Experience helps, but we care more about how you think, how quickly you learn and how well you work with AI tools.
Sales Executive
Join our KL team to grow Ekomas in the region. You will find and win new business for the company, from first conversation to signed deal, and build long-term relationships with our clients. You remain responsible for every promise made to a client.
- 01Find, qualify and follow up on new business leads and opportunities
- 02Understand each client’s needs and match them with the right Ekomas services
- 03Present Ekomas to prospective clients and prepare proposals and quotations
- 04Negotiate terms and close deals
- 05Own your accounts from first contact through signed contract and ongoing relationship
- 06Keep your pipeline and client records up to date and report on progress
- Strong spoken and written English; Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a plus
- Confident presenting to business owners and decision makers
- Good communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Organised, persistent and comfortable with targets
- Honest about what we can deliver, and comfortable saying "let me check with the team"
- Able to work independently and take ownership
- Full-time, office-based in Alam Damai, Kuala Lumpur
